@stephenboyd4934 Is it "If you tolerate this, then your children will be next" or would the much older Who number, "Won't get fooled again"? Note very carefully the lyrics of the latter as they are very topical these days.

@UkTruthSeeker2009 Like that is going to happen unless someone is being stitched up!

It seems you share my fears about home schooling (or non-schooling as it is sometimes called). I know it can help with certain children however, those children often don't have a future in "normal " society anyway for various reasons. Sadly many schools don't seem to be helping themselves these days when it comes to getting parental "buy-in" which is essential although even that can have a big negative effect given the nature of some parents these days.

Has it dawned on anyone else or is it just me? There seems to be a number of former highly respected and trusted xmembers of society like Mr Oliver who everyone one knew and respected (some even did so when he sold out to doing voice overs for adverts) that have mysteriously "changed sides" so to speak. Could it be that this is not quite what it seems and is infact part of a bigger plot to divide and conquer the public?

How can it protect the government when they have always been able to listen in to everything? Perhaps some people like to groom kids on line or encourage self harm and suicide? Why are people so worried about this because it will not stop anything legit.

@KamiTenchi They have always been able to.

I remember the big scandal about what was going on in one of the Scottish islands where kids were aledged to have been abused. Turned out to be rubbish.

@paulhinton8699 Yes, it's really shocking, we will no longer be able to organise acts of terrorism on line like the Manchester arena or the attack on the underground and buses! And what will all the sickos do now that they can't groom online. You won't even be able to encourage self harm or suicide without someone interfering.

@Messy6610 Are these the parents who some people think should be home schooling? Yes, parents should take responsibility but even when I was at school us "lads" managed to get hold of porno mags and the like.

@DragonToothless2517 That is a bit of a leftist statement isn't it?
