  2.  @kathyhansen2820  It is interesting that you say they don't work all year even in Florida. We have a fairly large (by UK standards) house a little north of London which we rent out. It has the thermal type solar panels to heat the water which are amazingly efficient. Even on a fairly overcast day they produce a surprising amount of heat and keep the energy bills down. To me these would be ideal to install on a factory roof as no matter what you make you need hot water.
