I doubt someone would say “Wow stop threatening me.” in those circumstances - more like - "Why?" or "how many do you have?"

@plagueday5395 Variety is the spice of life, but then some folk love to be bored and blame everyone else for everything.

@buragi5441 We went to a local restaurant for a Christmas meal the other day. The founder & still owner after 20 plus years (that I know of) and his various sons who work there still recognised my other half from 10 years ago when she used to look after various generations of the family as a practice nurse. He had 4 or 5 wives & families at last count!

@david_donovan Quite a few cultures practiced polygamy and some still do - others had polyandry that seems to work too.
2
@buragi5441 Perhaps if we go back to basics. Polyamory literally means loving more than one person and that needs no evidential proof of existence because everyone should be capable of it to varying levels. Polygamy is still practiced in many parts of the world, mostly Muslim countries as it happens, and obviously came about for practical reasons (I know it is only wikipedia, but they have details about it and they should be easy enough for you to look up). If it did not work or serve a purpose, then it would have died out long ago. Polyandry is less common but it to must have come about for a reason, again, look it up. Open relationships are another thing altogether- they do seem to work for some people, you only have to go along to a local swingers club to witness the pleasure it can bring to all those taking part.

People don't get cats, cats get people!

@MidwestArtMan Try some same room swapping if you are that jealous of what your wife might like to do, or maybe even some cuckold games?
1
You can't beat a bit of polyamorous pansexual fun and games!
1
@chaimafaghet7343 Yes, even a bit of BDSM can make life so much more fun. It is so great that people are allowed to think for themselves these days rather than just follow rules made by people who have always ignored them and only used rules to control the masses.
1
@chaimafaghet7343 I will not rise to such a remark. Put me over your knee for a spanking and I will rise wonderfully!
1
@Tetarkall It is so sad that some men cannot satisfy their wives. There are those of us who could satisfy several of them as a service though.
1
@View Bot It is the only way I have found not for them to be so tight they hurt both parties.
1
I wonder how many people take polyamory to be the same thing as an open relationship? They can be very different things and normally are. Polyamorous means loving more than one person, in an open relationship you don't have to love the other partners to enjoy carnal action with them

Reading 95% of the comments on here, I realise just how dull, boring and conforming most people are these days. That is just what the "Elite" want us to be like - never stepping outside of little boxes, not wanting anything that is not "normal" because you are afraid big brother will tell you off. And some of these people complain about the Muslim countries?
1
Why? What actually is wrong with it? Not something written in an old book, written by the elite to control the masses?
1
@GamePlayuh9510 Wearing masks, social distancing and having jabs are vital to this whole concept of a good society - caring for others!
1
@GamePlayuh9510 I did not mention Covid specifically, but you said something about key elements of a good society and that generally means conforming to rules set by that society.
1
@buragi5441 You, like everyone on the planet would be welcomed by Mr Akash and his family (ies) to his restaurant in Portsmouth. The mix I sat down with was shall we say, broad!
1
@buragi5441 look up the place, they have a website and are wonderfully friendly. My Mrs got dragged into the kitchen to meet the "lads" she looked after at the surgery where she worked when they were nippers.
1
@GamePlayuh9510 Good
1
@buragi5441 Then if you still fail to accept my word, go along to the restaurant and meet the families for yourself. People tell me God exists but there is no proof or hard evidence is there?
1
@buragi5441 I do have firm evidence that trolls exist, and not the type that live under bridges and scare goats.
1
@buragi5441 I think you must be the mental one, not even being willing to examine the evidence presented to you on a plate. Go back and ask your imaginary friend from that old book.
1
@buragi5441 Where is your evidence to the contrary. I guess you could phone the restaurant if you don't want to go there? Are you one of those people who only believe what they read in the press? If so, I feel deeply sorry for you. Perhaps you need to brighten up your life with a little degenerate behaviour? A bit of pegging maybe would suit you or a good old fashioned group session?
1
@buragi5441 Sorry, but I have given you the most reliable evidence that there is in the form of Mr Akash and his somewhat extended family (ies). This is not something from a newspaper, written to sell newspapers or promote some idea. I sort of guess that you are an American so there is no real point in arguing further with you as you probably don't have a passport, have never left your state, probably not your county and still think that the earth is flat.
1
@buragi5441 FFS, STFU or talk to the guy and his family and there you will find the strongest and most compelling evidence that you ever could. Not something written in an old book.
1
@buragi5441 OK, then come up with evidence that open relationships never work? Works both ways you see.
1
WGAF if they, "they work" or not TBH. Too many prudish relationships fail these days for that very reason. Look at the so called celibate priests and their un-natural interest in choir Boys?
1
@buragi5441 I have just watched Mrs Brown's boys on tv, and I have to say, in the words of the guy with turettes and dyslexia, you are a complete and utterly aunt. Not every one is quite so pathetic and narrow minded as you. Most decent people accept that other people are not the same as they are. Good luck with your marriage to your 13 yo cousin and hopefully your children will not be too badly affected by inbreeding like many yanks seem to. You could of course wake up and accept the rest of the world is not so narrow minded as you are and not entirely controlled by the unseen elites. XXX
1
@brittoncain5090 You are right about teachers vs priests but for a religion that is so puritanical it just makes it worse, especially all the cover ups. As for the the other subject, believe what you will.
1
@sexycenturion7074 And just as likely the opposite too. And what about quality of life - where does that come into things?
1
@ShinFahima Cuckolding is only for the more open minded and people who are strong enough to accept it. It is not for the easily led rule followers and cowards.
1
Polygamy is part of many cultures and in fact, those cultures often have a strong family ethos. There are also some cultures where one woman can have more than one husband and that to seems to work. You really wonder what the stigma is about, other than puritanical prudishness, generally referred to as being as boring as F.

@Locke350 I can't say that I know any real feminists.
