When I used to go to Montreal regularly a few years back, I was always shocked by the number of beggars and the fact that many young women would pay for their education by "dancing" in the famous horizontal ballet clubs.

@basilbaby7678 That was when very few people became elderly and any that had not, died before deteriorating in the way they do these days by being kept alive unnaturally. The last 5 or so years of my mother's life were truly awful to witness and as awful as it might sound to some, I think my father passed in a much more dignified way (the way I want to). I have around 5 years left to beat dad!

@basilbaby7678 All that I can say on the topic is that when I reach a point that I have deteriorated to a stage that I am unable to decide if I want to continue living then I would rather not as it would be worse than death. I do not like to see an animal suffering unnecessarily so why should I be any different?

And to think, no one complained when Covid was killing the old and the sickly? That is why I always referred to it as eugenic flu. I am sure that is why the Americans released it in China in the first place.

@allamericanslacker2378 Sadly we will never get MAIDS or whatever the acronym is because there is far too much money being made by fighting it and keeping people "alive" who should have died. It was tried by letting covid into old people's homes until some lawyers latched onto that!
