  8.  @adammckee3496  I doubt she could pull the sails up on my yacht like my other half does. Now 71, she carries a little extra weight in places that make her a nicer shape than the models we are all told have perfect figures but drive young girls to become anorexic.

  9.  @adammckee3496  You are very lucky that your wife meets your standards visually and hopefully in other ways. I have dated a couple of very skinny girls when I was young but it was only due to their personality and not their looks.

  10.  @adammckee3496  One of them was borderline and a bit obsessed with her weight. The problem these days is that too many young girls get obsessed with their weight because of the images promoted by the media (this applies to both ends of the spectrum!). What used to be referred to as puppy fat on young teenagers that soon disappears as they grow is now branded as obesity and ends up doing no end of harm.

  11.  @adammckee3496  As I have stated elsewhere, there is a big difference between womanly curves and over weight/ fat. There seems to be a lot of girls these days with no real figure/ curves which evolution has made attractive to men for several reasons. They don't really look that feminine. You only have to look at the mainstream catwalk models to see that.
