  1. Americans would not know good food if they were fed it for months. Their food is tasteless muck and comes in ridiculously large portions. I wonder what a Yank would make of a nice ripe pheasant or some pheasant that had been hung for a good while. Then of course there is woodcock, cooked the French way, complete with the guts left in.

  2. I remember seeing an American who I worked with bite into a ham roll with a good dollop of English mustard- big mistake! He even struggles with decent onions in a cheese roll. The other funny was when my dads work mate brought in some home made horse raddish sauce - Trevor the Caribbean guy reckoned it was way to powerful for him!
