  1. I am not sure if any of you are familiar with Massad Ayoob, but one of his recommendations regarding dogs for self protection is to have a Great Dane - such a soft and cuddly, friendly animal? The were bred for and taken into war to kill people - they can put their feet on your shoulders and bite your head off!
