  1. I think it is wonderful that these Americans are not having children, the less of them the better. It seems like the only people who benefit from a growing population are the mega rich who depend on us "serfs" to work for them for next to nothing. They are the ones making people think that this is the only way.

  2. My mum was 38 when I was born and she went on to have 2 very healthy daughters over the next 6 years!

  3. Why do you say they "must work"? Do you mean that is the only way they can afford all the trappings that seem to be "essential" these days because people have been sold unrealistic

  7.  @RabbyRabbithole  Very wise words there. One of the worst things that the media does is to create the impression that you must have lots of the latest "stuff" to be happy. Very often kids are as happy playing with the box as the thing that came in it when younger. When our grandchildren were away with us in France in the summer the charge lead for their iPhones got broken so very quickly they had no tech to play with. Suddenly they were enjoying doing stuff kids used to do and in many ways became more grown up as a result.
