Historically, Britain gained its strength and fierce fighting reputation due to a form of diversity, however all the elements were from Europe, e.g. the Romans, Angles, Saxons, Vikings and Normans (just French Vikings really). We are a blend of many strong cultures. This does not seem to be happening now as the invasion is through the back door and not through battle and conquest.

@TheBcoolGuy Technically you are quite wrong there as it happens. Why are most yachts made of composite materials? The issue comes when you try to mix materials that don't complement eachother or fail to mix properly. Reinforced concrete is very strong but if there is a gap between the concrete and the iron rods it will not last very long.

@paulduncan789 I guess that I speak proper home counties English despite having lived half my life in a city with it's own distinct accent and use of words.

@HyperboreanJim861 A clever but lazy person will always find easier ways to achieve what it takes a thick person much more work to achieve. They will appear to be not working hard but generally are far more productive.
