  1. EVERYBODY hates kiddie fiddlers & CP! There is rather a large "However" in that it is often deliberately miss-linked to other views / attitudes / groups or whatever you might like to call them to try to make those look much worse to everybody, and thus, much easier to demonise. This was a classic tactic used by the guy in Germany in the 30's and works really well. It is very easy to spot to people with half a brain, but sadly less than half the population who might be exposed to those views have even as much as half a brain (being generous!).

  2. The whole internet was originally created to allow anonymous exchange of views and info etc by a bunch of guys. That second it created a monster! Unless it was (is) going to be heavily monitored and censored by genuinely independent bodies (eg the government) it will be open to all sorts of bad things from CP through to terrorism and beyond. Just think of the poor girl in the UK who took her own life? The only cure will be within parenting - educating kids and protecting (but not overly so) them etc.
