@Kanakotka It is very interesting that you quote Swedish and French - those French from Normandy are actually of Scandinavian decent, as in "North man". The differences across Europe are largely far more cultural than racial.

@philcollins2546 I hope you don't mean "well, grooming"?

On the few occasions I pass people while out walking in the countryside I always say a polite "hello" or similar and generally it gets returned. You can almost tell when you see people coming the opposite direction how they will respond from their appearance. I hope it does not sound snobbish, but those who are dressed for the countryside tend to be the politest.

@Sajuek Down to the lowest common denominator? Is that not a move backwards?
2
@xaviercockerton6989 Adolf wanted that back in the 30's
2
@Sajuek I do not think you fully understand the notion of "far right" - Certainly nothing to do with being pro-monarchy, almost the opposite.
1
@xaviercockerton6989 Adolf tried to unite Europe with his own brand of socialism!
1
@Sajuek There are very few if any dictatorships run by Monarchs these days - certainly none in Europe. And where did I say or even infer that they were left wing? You appear to be an idealist with a very unrealistic view of the real world. In Europe at least, the countries with a monarchy all seem to be the best ones to live in so where is the problem?

@The Bunkerologist weirdly, both come from the same area and thus the same people and both share many ideas. One lot have been hated and persecuted for many years, and with good cause in many cases, the other is starting to follow suit.

@Anthony_Romford He was only trying (unsuccessfully) to do what Maggie had done in the Falklands.
1
@--_--IMP--_-- How do you place Buddhism? Technically, it is not strictly a religion, but neither is it a cult by the same definitions?
1
@Anthony_Romford Like him or not, at least he believed in something other than a way to make money for himself and his cronies! What we do need is a PM & MPs who genuinely believe in our country and it's people and who are not just in it for the cash.

What would happen if a white trans male turned up wearing fishnets, heels and a rubber miniskirt to one of their walks? (I don't want to feel out of place in case I want to join them - LOL).
1
@aurockscastillo5460 That's a pity because I am sure the guys would find me far more attractive as I would not be covered head to toe?
1
And never has done so!
1
@jawlig If you say so, but there could well be more to it than just the colour?
1
@jawlig I am extremely surprised to hear that this is reported to have happened. Could it be in an area where anyone not local may have not been welcomed?
1
@jawlig The other thing is that you are quoting one incident. I could quote a single incident where a doctor whose first language was not English nearly killed a child as he did not understand that the child had an extreme allergy. In fact, I could quote a number of incidents along this line including my other half who was badly misdiagnosed and suffered months of pain and had to undergo a fairly major operation to rectify the mistake. I could also quote some fantastic work by foreign doctors and nurses!
1
@JM-ws6k I would like to know more about that incident to be able to make up my mind about it.
1
@jawlig I have never suggested that it doesn't occur. Just imagine an Indian walking in the countryside of Pakistan? Or maybe an Arab walking through Golders Green?
1
You very naughty man - LOL.
1
@SvendleBerries or forced them to be Muslims?
1
@Sajuek And what fantasy world do you come from.?
1
@kamrudkd Are they not a social construct as anyone can get laid these days?
1
I thought they just had wedding ceremonies in motorway service stations and pick-nicks in laybys?
1
It must be all those pigs and dogs in the countryside?
