Every pantomime had at least one and generally a "handsome young lad" who was a woman. Going back a fair way, at one time women were not allowed to act on stage so female characters were all actually men.

@nunjabeeswaxs4686 There certainly are and always have been boys and girls who go through a "phase" of cross dressing when quite young.

The main reason this is happening now is that until recently, these guys would have been so ashamed. They were the ones labelled sissy at school or "sensitive". Many ended up married with children due to social pressures or even ended up topping themselves. The women were in a similar position but often ended up as spinster teachers etc as the pressures on them were subtly different. Things were rather different in the upper classes, but still not like today.

And why do you feel that this is a bad thing? I knew more than a few women who seriously got off on guy wearing their undies!

@hospitalsgivingpatientsdan8894 It can be, much the same as with guys who want to be women, but I would be careful who you say that to as there are more than a few who are far more women than you might imagine. And at the end of the day, does it really matter, unless you feel threatened by them?

@realyopikechannel Sadly the high suicide rate is mainly due to the way that they are treated or viewed my the very narrow minded and blinkered members of society are.

@hospitalsgivingpatientsdan8894 Yep that is how it should be and is for many such people. The issue today is that too many people have become "entitled " and think the world owes them (and that applies right across the board! )

@ArchivedFox The whole subject of what is a fetish is a very interesting one. I once heard it said that making love in the missionary position under the bedclothes in the dark must be a fetish or even a perversion as so few normal people do it or at least enjoy it!

@jesussaves6625 I would suggest that you have probably seen very few true "AGPs" due to the very nature of what they do & why they do it! There are many reasons people choose to wear clothing normally associated with the opposite gender and AGP is only one.

They say that first appearances should never be used to judge someone. I always say they are a very good indicator of what someone is like. In the case of PGOL here, what she writes matches her appearance perfectly to me. Make up your own mind whether I have a positive or negative "vibe" about her!

@hospitalsgivingpatientsdan8894 Some of my friends and colleagues made the most inappropriate comments about my little sister as she was extremely attractive (to them) even in her late 50s (and I cannot believe I am saying this) she still turns heads. When she was doing the he-man stuff she left a of guys standing, but after a quick shower and a bit of make up they would be gawping. If you cannot understand what I am trying to say, then I have sympathy for you.

@realyopikechannel You do raise some good points there, however you talk about people who get interviewed as if they represent all of that group and that cannot be true. Another giveaway is the reference to "big pharma" which, when you consider the numbers involved and that the products are not that different from the pill,doesn't really add up to much. The other thing of course is that these people are actually nothing to do with AGP. AGP is just like any other fetish / role play, be it pony play, pet play or even age play. It is all about fantasy, just like someone dressing up as superman or a famous footballer for their wife. They do not want to be women any more than the others want to be ponies or "naughty schoolboys". It is simply a totally harmless bit of fun in an otherwise very dull world as long as it stays in the appropriate place.

If you actually knew anything about it and / or people who were, you would know that they would not identify as transsexual/ transgender/ transvestite and by degrees some would not even consider themselves as it true cross dressers, although that is technically what they are.
