  1. Americanisation of our food is largely to blame. Mind you, I have seen a couple of adverts for meat & dairy recently extolling the (real) virtues! I recommend anyone who can should go for wild meat whenever they can as it is very healthy, tasty and good for the countryside, Git a big lump of Roe deer venison for dinner tonight accompanied by some nice French Merlot and good veg.
