  1. I have been to the Caribbean several times and observed that there appeared to be two distinct groups of people. One lot were the smart, clever, hard working type (think Will Smith as the typical image but a large proportion were women). The other, larger numerically, lot were the stereotypical opposite. I wonder if this goes back to the days when the latter type were captured by the former and sold as slaves? It would make sense to capture the easiest people.
