  2. WW2 was started by the actions of a group of people who destroyed the German economy. That led to a populist leader being elected who set about trying to save his country. He was eventually assassinated by his enemies in a way that it made appear to be suicide. Our bombing of Germany was driven by the people who were being persecuted by Hitler.
