The African situation clearly demonstrates that some people just are not ready (possibly never will be) for any semblance of democracy. It does not always do what it should in the "West" but at least we can see why and try to change it.

Back in the day, before things went bad, you could not sell weapons to SA so they developed their own (much like Israel did) and they were pretty good at it. Then things changed and different people ran the country. The rest is recent history!

@mazambane286 A good friend has recently returned from SA where her hubby is from and was telling us about the regular power cuts out there recently.

@WarmSpringsWarriors Well, they had their own and are one of the few countries to come out well from it. The Yanks called their rebellion the revolutionary war of independence, but nothing really changed in the long run.
