The minimum recommended sentence for any firearm offence is 5 years. The gun and each round of ammo plus using a gun to threaten people are each such an offence so this guy should have been sentenced for maybe 40 years (if he had a revolver) or 60 plus given the popularity of certain semi automatic pistols with these fine gents.

@mkaz3997 How can anyone be acquitted of a crime that they committed? I also know what you are saying regards the penal system not working correctly- perhaps if it did a few more lives might be saved?
