  1. The real killer of the modern EV is the obsession with speed and range that really makes no sense in most every day situations. Citroen have led the field when it comes to trying to make a sensibly priced car for city use. Had they gone down the LiFePo battery route then the safety concerns would have been vastly reduced.

  2. The main reason electric cars didn't get any further development was the oil companies. They are also the ones who encourage out of town shopping and ever bigger and faster cars.
