@chrisredding6673 Totally agree there, I worked with Parisians but love the people from rural France- they are so proud of who they are (in terms of culture) yet so laid back and friendly.

I would suggest American cooks would take hell to a whole new level!

@namastereciprocity4549 I ate at the famous Dallas tower resto and was very pleased with the food, I have to say. I have also eaten some fantastic Mexican food and Asian food out there. Sadly, much of what I was served was just big portions of bland stuff.

@mikeallan7740 You will actually find it is often much nearer 90% in most cases. Just look at the behaviour of BMW drivers or motorcyclists next time you drive anywhere. You will notice that 90% behave exactly as their stereotypes would predict. This is a very good way to drive safely!

@davidjacobs8558 The snake thing is very interesting - it seems that even in the UK with only one venomous snake, many native animals and birds are scared of them.

Is there a stereotype bigot or racist? If so, then stereotypes are correct, if not then maybe they are not?

@nt78stonewobble I totally agree with the 90% rule - you will rarely get it wrong based on that and it is often a very pleasant surprise if ever you do.

@umiluv So you are saying that everyone in the UK government fits a stereotype?

These two guys are perfect illustrations of a stereotype. BMW drivers are another typical one.

@Uppernorwood976 Do not tell the real French that, you will not get a polite response!

If someone said that the stereotype from country X is fat and lazy, not very clever, has appalling taste, eats huge meals of tasteless food, would not know a decent car if it ran them over, which country might that be?
