I guess being in such a sparsely populated colony you probably never knew anyone who caught it very early on (quite a few people in the UK did before it was really acknowledged). When you hear what it did to them and how bad they felt, you can understand why people who thought they might be vulnerable had the vax. Personally I knew a number, the description by one of whom was not good!

@eranbenavraham There is strangely some evidence that it was the immune system that caused some fatalities from catching covid. It seems that many smokers and users of nicotine, both of which are not good for the immune system, did not become as seriously ill as was expected. This information came from France where there are still a large number of smokers.

@Abbasblesseddaughter I am not a big fan of flying now that smoking has been banned on planes. The air on board now is much less healthy as it is not changed so often. On the few occasions I have flown I have often ended up with flu or similar. With the way covid spreads and how badly it affects some people, I would not want to take the risk!

Do you mean pure Australian blood or are you descended from the asylum seekers, criminals and economic migrants who run the country now?

@Abbasblesseddaughter It was one of the reasons I had the pneumonia vaccine as my lungs are not that good.

@M.C._3369 You sound like some of the neo nazis that were driving the anti vax/lock down protests before anyone really knew how bad it might be. They were hoping it would take out the weak and sickly and those that they considered to be undesirable as some of those would believe the vaccine contained nano bots to control people and other rubbish if they saw it on the Internet.

How much has the total Israeli population been depleted? Is it enough to have a positive effect on the rest of the world?

In the UK, many of the very early anti vax / lockdown promoters (I mean very early on! ) had all the hallmarks of being far right. I suspected that they thought it was just going to affect the "bad" people (in their view).

Population decline is a great thing which is why so many wealthy people hate the thought of it as it ruins their economic model, messes up capitalism and reduces the number of poor people available to work for low wages. In the UK they are ruining our countryside by building more and more homes.

Did anyone really know potentially how bad covid could have been at the start? I saw hard, reliable figures for death tolls early on from some countries. Had it turned out to be a really serious, who would have been shouting about nothing being done?
