@rickconstant6106 I find it interesting that, although a car is a potential lethal weapon and can be so inadvertently, there are no restrictions whatsoever on who can buy one or the top speed they are capable of. Just look at all the restrictions on gun ownership in the UK when cars kill far more people.

@GoldenbanjoDJ Ever heard of a duty of care?
1
@andywilliams7323 More by good luck than anything else!
1
@andywilliams7323 A genetic condition you say, so quite likely both his parents are the cause.
1
@andywilliams7323 Did you not say that is a genetic condition which would imply it was inherited?
1
@no-oneinparticular7264 A well deserved too for ignoring the law multiple times.
1
@andywilliams7323 Maybe the banned driver should be made to pay for taxis for the people who have been affected by his behaviour? That might be more of a deterrent?
1
@andywilliams7323 Katie Price could very easily afford to pay for taxis given the amount of money she has / makes. I believe the last crash she had was in a very expensive car and was there not something about drugs being involved?

An autistic 15 year old can be very dangerous, not intentionally or at least not maliciously but still dangerous.
1
TsunzucchiniTzatzikiSan Scum like you are destroying our once great country.
1
@CristiNeagu Did you actually read what I wrote or only read what you wanted me to say?
1
@tufty7663 At that age her parents should be held responsible for her actions and be charged with allowing her to get drunk. What if she had attacked your granny or your little sister?
1
@michellemcgill9328 Potentially quite a dangerous situation, although she might not have meant to hurt anyone or done so with malicious intent I certainly wouldn't want to deal with her kind.
1
Do we know if she was scientifically proven to be autistic, or if that is even possible?
1
@wakeupuk3860 Perhaps all the Oxford Street mob would plead that they are autistic (instead of being total retards)?
1
@slavbrav69 Sounds like your favourite dish?
1
@CristiNeagu Where did I say she was violent, only that she could have been capable of violence.
1
@stephenspence1192 No and have never wanted to be. What bugs me is that people are so ready to attack them for reacting in a way many folk would in a situation or criticising them for not reacting. I was not there when this incident happened and although there is video footage, camera angle can make things look very different.
1
@TheAArmstrong Have you ever seen a feral chav fight - not a pretty sight. Add drink and an "altered" sense of right and wrong again you have a potentially unpleasant situation.
1
@nofyou5182 She was probably on the blob, hence being touchy
1
@Kit_Bear Thankfully a good many "fix" themselves I.A.W. Darwin's theory, but not enough as the numbers keep increasing!
1
There are those who consider trial without jury can be beneficial in some cases due to the way juries are made up of "ordinary" and not necessarily sensible people.
1
@ivarbaratheon264 Very much so, but certain alleged crimes are more likely to be frowned on more by your average jury.
1
@ItsOnlyMe247 And you are obviously one of the dangerous drivers. Let me guess, a BMW or an Audi or is it a Merc?
1
@firstknight6057 Another plonker hits the keyboard!
1
@grahamstretch6863 That is rather a big word to use when addressing a halfwit.
1
@Eric_Hunt194 Probably either a white van man or a prestige German car driver .
1
@footballasylum6239 Love your name, and very appropriate for many football fans as that would be a good place for them.
1
I am afraid it works both ways and when you seem some of the thugs attacking ambulance crew, you wish that they were trained and equipped to fight back.
1
It is far more advantageous for a crim to know the law than for anyone else.
1
@matthewsmith2787 No such thing as a good lawyer in many people's books, specially the victims of crime!
1
Kids taking mobile phones to school are just another example of the entitled generation. There is absolutely no need for them to have a phone at school and going by my grandkids, it all seems to be about who has the newest and best and endlessly watching silly American videos on tik tok etc.
1
@VictheSecret It might be irrelevant to the discussion about the legality but it is relevant to the cause of the issue. As for mobiles being "useful " for kids, how come generations managed without them. There is a huge difference between "useful " and necessary.
1
@marksapollo The problem is not so much them having phones but the latest generation of smartphones expose them to a lot of things that are not good. And as for knife crime, how on earth does that come into a conversation about phones (other than they were crucial to the organization of the stabbing of that lad in the park by fellow students).
1
@obid7755 I think you missed my point slightly (mind you, mentioning WEF makes me know why) - I voted Reform knowing that Labour would win, not necessarily as a result but certainly in some areas as a result. They just were not strong enough yet - they need to really understand how the true majority of the British voters thinks and what they really want. They need to be the party of the "Real" people and not appear to be fringe elitist as occasionally comes across.
1
@flier9708 You have a point there, some of it was about not trusting a potential "Populist" government (i.e. Reform) based on what has gone very wrong in the past when that happened.
1
@patmillar961 No, the darker bit between them!
1
@grahamgibson3737 That is why I voted Reform, hoping it might just kick the other two into thinking about ordinary people in the UK.
1
Filming cops is just trouble making & stirring and should be banned. These idiots only do what they do to make a name for themselves.,
1
@georgehetty7857 You can exercise your rights to jump off a cliff or a pier if you want to but I would not suggest it is wise.
1
@georgehetty7857 That is what I would expect to come from some looney lefty do gooder.
1
@Treblaine In your very own words, this guy was being reckless by speeding. That is more than enough reason for him to be stopped and asked for his details.
1
@zacote1970 How many cops have died or been seriously assaulted while going about their lawful duty? You don't end up in police custody unless you have done something wrong. That doesn't mean people should die, but it is a big step towards staying alive.
1
@S.Trades Who on earth are beating and killing victims just for fun? Sounds like some London gang with a deprived childhood?
1
@paulwright8378 I was thinking the other day about that incident. Has anyone seen hard and fast proof of anything to do with it? Could the officer involved have been set up for expressing views against the "system"?
1
@zacote1970 Not sure that what you have written makes any sense?
1
@zacote1970 I could not answer a question because what you wrote made no sense. Please try harder or give up.
1
I guess many would be capable but a, they have to toe the line to get anywhere (there are crude terms used in industry) and b, they get consumed by the power they have.
1
@dartmoorkid4797 And doesn't change the people who actually run the country ( the civil service).
1
@vatsmith8759 British Citizenship is pretty easy to get, even those born in Southampton can!
