😅Would you have said the same about Rolf or Jimmy?

@DrSpooglemon Quite amusing when you consider Tik Tok is supposedly Chinese?

@Epidian I had never even heard of it until this case!

@Hypersonik Have you any clue how wealthy Brand is? I suspect he has way more money than anyone leaping to his defence could dream of and while he might protest, in real terms it won't affect him one bit.

@maximisatwat So a serial killer writes his memoirs and makes a fortune from the sort of ghouls who love that stuff?

The problem is the old one of any publicity is good publicity and that is exactly what the likes of Brand love. I recall he was one of the many who ripped into Mr Edwards who had not actually committed any crime nor had he actually been accused of doing so. In fact, it seemed that he was actually the victim in many ways.

That all sounds good, but someone like Brand could end up making lots of money due to the publicity from this case, specially given his self confessed former lifestyle.

@andyxox4168 Proceeds of crime springs to mind.

@andyxox4168 Brand and his like relish publicity and that is how they make their money. He couldn't care less what he says on his social media and has often bragged about things a normal guy would keep quiet. He has chosen his stance on many topics carefully, just like politicians do before an election and in many ways in exactly the same way that the BBC do. He wants viewers/ subscribers and as they say, any publicity is good publicity. He has upset a lot of people, just like Neil Oliver, by virtually encouraging disrespect for the law.

@andyxox4168 There is free speech and very free speech. Like a lot of the You Tube ranters, some of what he was saying maybe a year or two ago was all well and good which is how I discovered him on line. Then to keep the money coming in (which is the only reason they do it, despite what they may claim) they get more and more outrageous and more than a few are starting to promote civil unrest / disregard for the law. I Brand's case, he loves to brag about how many women he bedded in his earlier years which is rather juvenile but does appeal to certain people. He also had other unsavoury habits including drugs and other excesses. One wonders just how many of his "partners" may not have been as willing when totally in control of their minds and bodies but you also have to consider the abuse of position side of things.

@andyxox4168 Never stopped him ripping into Mr Edwards who had not broken any laws?

@TRUTHDISTRIBUTIONNETWORK So if this guy had been promoting dangerous dogs then that would be ok?

@theclotshotdidit3115 These days you never know. He would only have to plead that he had a certain not technically diagnosable condition (mentioning no names) and he would get let off and given help.

@theclotshotdidit3115 Are you sure you are commenting on the correct video?

I wonder just how much tax Brand pays compared with his net worth? Probably has accountants making sure it is almost as little as an MP.
