Comments by "Roger Smith" (@rogersmith8339) on "ARMED Police Overreact to Being Filmed and make Threats of Seizure!" video.
Why were you filming as it was none of your business?

@karenyoung8341 It is too easy to doctor digital recordings and make the police look bad.
2
There is an issue with publicising the identity of armed officers in that is can make their family members vulnerable to criminals.
1
The worry I have with armed police is that they could be very vulnerable to being hijacked, killed and have their weaponcompetitively
1
Something went very wrong there.
1
I was trying to say have their weapons stolen and then relating to my experience regarding competition shooting against armed police and the lack of competence among many of them.
1
@georgehetty7857 Some of them are, just like many people who wind them up deliberately.
1
@DLC-sy7pp But filming them and provoking them will only make matters worse for everyone. Laws will be introduced etc. The officers in the example were doing their job and unless you are an aggressive drunk or druggie you should understand that.
1
@DLC-sy7pp What if someone filmed you going about your every day job, but then again you lefties don't work for a living do you.
1
@frederickconnell6052 I still cannot see the point of filming coppers unless you have a thing for men in uniform or to make money from You Tube videos and make yourself feel important. It seems that You Tube is starting to get into more like Tik Tok every day.
1
@DLC-sy7pp No, it is called making yourself look important and making money from suckers. You have no idea what real auditing is about and why it happens. It will only have a negative effect in the future.
1
@DLC-sy7pp That is the first time I have been called a do gooder in my life! I was not presuming you don't know what proper auditing is as you made it abundantly clear yourself. Why not try your "auditing" on someone like the Coastguard by exercising your rights to jump off a pier or cliff?
1
@v4skunk739 You CAN do many things on public property but whether or not it is wise to do them or indeed of any value/ use to anyone is another matter. By the way, there are rules/ laws regarding who and what you can film in public places to do with privacy.
1
@DLC-sy7pp I guess the police know why news reporters are filming and that they know the film will not be used for nefarious purposes.
1
@frederickconnell6052 But you are not the press, you could well be using your film for nefarious purposes.
1
@oxfordsparky 100% with you on that. I guess these self glorifying people won't be though.
1
@v4skunk739 Actually you cannot with certain exceptions and I suspect from your made up name on here I know why you might feel so paranoid.
1
@DLC-sy7pp I was thinking more about identifying them and passing information to criminals who could then intimidate or threaten their families among other things. Mind you, why ever you do it, you must get some sort of kick out of it.
1
@John_Lyle It should have, just like some of our forces in that conflict and many others.
1
@John_Lyle So there are bad cops just like there are bad in every group?
1
@amosluyk He probably was in his imagination lol.
1
Filming cops is just trouble making & stirring and should be banned. These idiots only do what they do to make a name for themselves.,
1
@georgehetty7857 You can exercise your rights to jump off a cliff or a pier if you want to but I would not suggest it is wise.
1
@georgehetty7857 That is what I would expect to come from some looney lefty do gooder.
