Typically when progresses or democrats are in power wealthy people offshore all their money into tax havens because they know the economy will suffer and taxes will increase. Approximately four trillion dollars left our country when Obama was elected elected because they knew he was economically incompetent and was clueless on how to rebuild the economy. The tax increases and over-regulation proved everyone correct. That's why there's so much reinvestment happening in our country now that Trump is giving businesses the opportunity to grow and thrive. This is why many people that are wealthy get wealthier because they look at facts, statistics, math and reality instead of following a failing ideology such as socialism. It really does make a difference at the end of the day.

But as you well know, at least if you can do math, it's not sustainable from an economic standpoint and they will have to apply massive tax increases to pay for it all. In addition to that the standard deduction was doubled for single and joint filings. Considering the top tax brackets already paid triple what the bottom ones do they are already getting screwed and they didn't benefit much at all from the new tax plan.
