  1. More than a comment, i have a question... Can the US just keep raising debt ceiling forever, or would this strategy be simply delaying an inevitable disaster?

  3. Pretty much it's a trust issue. The Dollar is reliable as hell and its printing is tightly controlled. If the government can do it whenever it wants, dollar would depreciate quickly and trust around the world on the American coin would deteriorate.
