It suits those in power as it doesnt affect their living standards and makes them wealthier as they can provide contracts to their chums who then return a favour and brings in taxes from all those hotels, coaches, taxis, caterers, security, lawyers, housing developers, landlords etc. But we have our national insurance and taxes increased to pay for an influx we dont want or need which hammers our NHS, public services and destroys areas of our communities, is a risk to women and children having unknown 1llegals wandering around whilst diminishing our housing stock and draining the welfare system. This on top of the hundreds of thousands of 'legals' every year we didnt ask for which are already putting massive strain on the system. It wouldnt be so bad if the cost of everything came down significantly as a result of cheap labour and we were building the housing and infrastructure suitable for a first world nation but this is a mickey take. We get absolutely nothing from this.
