If farmers were so obsessed with wealth they wouldn't be up at 4am every morning working all day for peanuts, they would be selling up and making a fortune from the land which is the only thing Labour are interested in, selling it to large corporations and then making food supply more volatile and far more expensive whilst phasing out meat and dairy. If you like vegan food then by all means vote Labour as you will be on a very different diet in the future and it won't be pretty.

  3. I'd rather pay more income tax to preserve the UK farms and our food security. If farms aren't being used for farming when passed on to children then and only then could inheritance tax be justified but working farms should be exempt.

  4. If farmers wanted to be wealthy they wouldn't be farmers, they can sell up at anytime and avoid the back breaking work and getting up at stupid o clock. Anyone thinking it's a get rich quick scheme is insane, it's taken them generations to aquire assets and land prices aren't their fault.

Anyone having to ask who is deluded when it's clear to see the person trying to tell us that potentially closing down 500 farms is the way forward and food security isn't important to the UK just so all that money can be given away to foreign farmers has something seriously wrong with their senses.

  7. This has got to be the most dangerous domestic policy we've ever witnessed. We will have no countryside, no farming industry, no food security, wildlife will under threat as the land is carpeted over with concrete estates for newcomers or solar and windmills, this is insane.

  12. We would be swimming in cash if we didn't have sellout politians handing it out like candy to the most pointless projects and conflicts. Reform could sort this out in a matter of a few months and save us trillions.

  13. The money they hope to make from our farmers is literally going to fund foreign farms. You couldn't make it up, yet the left think this is perfectly acceptable and don't mind food insecurity.
