  1. Even the famous areas are looking tatty let alone the rest of it. Tacky and full of tat now and those new glass buildings are awful and dont fit in at all, soulless and depressing, the best days of London are long gone.

Its ok allowing these corporate giants to setup superstores and encouraging all these global businesses here but the look and feel of the city is being neglected, no money is being spent on it, we want things to look NICE as we are paying FIRST world taxes and expect FIRST world infrastructure. We are being taken for a ride.

Its not the London I used to know, back then it had its faults but you could at least afford to live there and feel part of the city if you weren't a millionaire or getting heavily subsidised with benefits. I don't really know what the place is about nowadays. For the money coming into the city its a busted flush, there is nothing about it that represents the money being invested into it, it looks like a low grade dump.

  9. Not only are the poorer areas awful but the upper end parts are all gentrified and unaffordable so might as well be cordoned off as they are living in a different world to the rest of us. That leaves very little of it to call our own and the tourist zones are full of tat and gimmicks. The wealthy are ok and couldn't care less because they live in a bubble and don't really care enough about the rest of us who once called it our home but can no longer be part of it.
