Offcommie also need looking into.

Bit like the BBC. Very rarely hear a working class accent on their programmes other than the news.

And we need societal rules in place to stop AI replacing jobs that can be done by lower skilled humans who can't retrain easily or where the social costs are too great but once again I doubt we will get any protection. Wait until the CBDC kick in, this is just a taste of what they have planned.

@truthseeker6377 Agreed, the 80s had it all from a young persons perspective, also loved the 70s
4
We just want the truth and to be treated like adults and you arent going to get it on the BBC or any other toxic media show.
4
Yep, I think I would have loved the 50s too.

Woke hasn't achieved anything good and it's not made anyone change their views, opinions, language or beliefs to accommodate it. Good riddance.

More excuses to stop people thinking for themselves on social media, I didn't hear anything offensive or racist. What about 'Kill Whitey' woman which was extremely offensive? Have the police investigated, no of course not!!!! None of us are going back to MSMS, it had its chance and blew it.

You need to stop rotting your brain with James OB on LBC. Just because the EU is working for you doesn't mean it works for everyone. Far too many immigrants undercutting wages and adding too much pressure on public services, infrastructure and housing, its unsustainable and you know it yet you don't see it as a problem.
2
No we didnt have complete control, the control measures you mention are very limited. You cant prevent people returning the next week to seek another non existent job offer or taking a job that pays nothing in taxes. The numbers coming here are unsustainable imo, we only need high earners and people that dont rely on welfare.
2
The mountain of woke books, media, dvds and video games collecting dust can all be put on a bonfire as no one wants it.
2
@ChristianIce No but I expect the long term unemployed already in the Uk to do those jobs or lose benefits. Also I have no issue with HIGHLY SKILLED immigrants, those are the only type I want here as they will be paying TAXES and not using welfare. What I don't want is to subsidise low paid, low skilled workers via tax credits and housing benefits whilst they use our public services and infrastructure or do you want them to continue piling over here and paying little to no taxes?
1
@ChristianIce That's fine, we will get skilled immigrants elsewhere but right now we have to limit immigration from non EU countries due to EU migrants getting preference, a lot of these people are needed in their own country anyway. Low skilled jobs can be done by our own people, the employers need to up the wages now and they will get workers, as I said earlier we shouldn't have to make up poor wages via tax credits and housing benefits so that employers can get away with paying peanuts. We also need to train our own people, we already have the skills but employers are abusing the situation by bypassing Brits. Its not true that all immigrants are net contributors, EU immigrants are costing 4 billion a year in benefits and the higher skilled ones are making up for them so totally inefficient when what we really need to do is limit the low earners and allow only high paid migrants. Anyone can see the logic in that, even you as a remainer surely?
1
@ChristianIce I can't stand the EU or the thought of being European and if EU immigrants are EU citizens then non EU immigrants are no doubt citizens of the world in your liberal, far left mind I guess? There are no borders in your world and everyone is equal regardless of contribution or skills. See how far you get with that commie attitude, you will soon be sharing everything with your friendly citizens.

Hell yeh. It was fun all the way through, I remember new years eve 79 and could feel something great was about to happen.
1
Who wouldnt want to put their own country first?
1
@strategicsage7694 Thats fine until AI and robotics replaces the majority of jobs because there are no safeguards in place. Then what do you suggest the displaced workers in their millions do then? I'm not against technology and progression but this has to managed over a long period of time, not overnight.
1
That was a great year in the 80s, I was a young teen and loved it. Things started going downhill in the 90s although it was way better than now.
1
I have nothing to do with it, everything it touches it destroys.
1
Which is why the working class have abandoned Labour.
