Same with electric cars and no doubt with any other life changing tech, we will get it once its museum worthy and the military have no further use for it.

@okaydetar821 Er, yes it is exactly how it works. Every major scientific breakthrough is utilised by the military or government projects initially and then passed to corporations who will roll out the technology piecemeal to consumers until that technology is obsolete. We are at least 50 years behind what scientists can produce in the lab. Who do you think is funding these scientists? Every single one of them is under contract to hand over their research. Time to wake up if you don't think thats how it works.
