  1. Why has it taken the Guardian this long to investigate why people voted out? It's not just the North that feels like this either, people in jobs are feeling completely helpless too as there has been a decade of austerity on top of massive house price inflation and mass immigration whilst wages have stagnated, we are constantly told that all migrants are net contributers which is a lie otherwise we would have plenty of money flooding in for services and infrastructure. Calling people racists isn't helpful, controlling immigration levels is the responsible thing to do but the left won't admit it.
