The trouble is the majority of people dont really love music and certainly dont appreciate how its made so at this rate A.I might as well take over completely because the modern audience doesnt seem to care enough to preserve deep and meaningful or highly skilled music. I suspect the big labels have been using an A.I music generator for some time anyway because it sounds so samey and there is a lot of music that has elements of older music so they are probably feeding that in to lazily produce new music. Same with all the other arts and literature, use it or lose it. We are heading for the Eloi society, if humans dont step up and add something unique or meaningful then A.I will dominate, trouble is even if great music was made again would anyone even want it let alone the labels wanting to promtote it?

@tommypospa But thats what most of this generation were bought up on so would they give that up for a completely different style of music, this robotic sound and trap music has been around for at least two deacdes and they arent bored with it yet whereas when we were growing up the sound changed every year. Not only that but would the lyrics get through cens0rship nowadays and what about the love songs, can they relate to that?

Definitely a couple of decades ago that was the case but its possibly a bit too late now as you are talking about the older generation who missed the quality of music they grew up with. Since then most of us have realised those days are never coming back as the depth and musical maturity just isnt there nowadays and its missing the soul, not saying that there couldnt be better music neing made but its not going to match the best music of old, those days are gone and older music fans are content delving into back catalogues and discovering artists they missed and arent so bothered about new music anymore, the industry left it too long and cant produce anything unless its highly commercial so I suspect A.I is going to make music that people listen to far, far worse instead of better quality and the average listener is content with that.

Its been this way since the mid to late 90s, I'm convinced they deliberately reset the industry, I stopped listening to most mainstream music then because the sound had changed so dramatically and autotune came along and destroyed what was left, I just couldnt enjoy any of it because I didnt like the style of 'singing', the lack of creativity, the soul and funk, quantization and everything sounded overproduced. The snippets of modern mainstream I hear nowadays I find unbearable, I hear Rick playing through the top 10 and it only sounds more listenable when he adds his playing over the top. I just cant listen to it, it does nothing for the mind body or soul.
