I dont think the majority of people really like music in any big way, out of all the people I know, only a handful really dig it, but they tend to only listen to one genre and havent explored other artists in a meaningful way, let alone understand even the basics of playing an instrument or knowing any theory. I probably enjoyed video games a little more than music as a kid but its the opposite now even though games are far superior than they were growing up.
