As a brown person I don't need a month of supermarkets and various outlets telling me about black history. Sick of this nonsense.

Yes and pay for it all accept a lower standard of living and quality of life and modify your way of life, your speech and beliefs and get used to being lied to and manipulated by authority figures and the media , or else it seems.
43
I'm sick of hearing about windrush and yet my father came over here from Jamaica back in the 60s, integrated, worked hard, rasied a family and got on fine with British people, had little to no racial conflict or certainly didnt make any fuss about it and has returned home. I dont know why anyone black thinks this is a difficult country to live in, its never been easier compared to what I've experienced yet none of it affected me in the slightest. And please dont bother removing my comment YT, this is no misinfo.
34
Most sensible black people despise this as they can see the division its causing in society and dont want white people to feel like outcasts in their own country. Its not doing black people any favours and has put race relations back decades which is why many of the older generation of black people are completely against this movement. Younger black people in the UK have never had it easier and have completely different lives to previous generations, far more opportunites and access to education and far less racism to the point it barely exists in day to day life. White working class people have zero privilege. Growing up most of the pop stars were black or gay and so were the presenters so this lecture in 'diversity' is a complete and utter joke.
33
Which is why millions of us no longer have anything to do with their mind control tv station.
33
They aren't elites they are scum.
30
Not many of their news articles on this showing up on YouTube. Hmmmmmmm

There is no racism in the UK on a day to day basis unless you go looking for it and even then its nothing. I find it insulting that these race baiters are stirring up trouble when they know for a fact that race relations are nothing like they were in the 60s, 70s and 80s and that black people and other minorities have never had it easier, its nothing like their parents or grandparents faced. I know this because I grew up as a minority in this country in the 70s and experienced the the NF face to face and racism was rife back then and had plenty of confrontations regarding my skin colour and dealt with all of it without having a chip on my shoulder so I know what I'm talking about and despise race baiters trying to speak on my behalf when they know nothing. This is now a very easy country to live in now for minorities, but its got to the point where far too many people are being allowed in and its spoiling the country and creating tensions all over again.

Most of us know what we are getting with Labour and Tory which is why we won't be bothering and will be voting Reform.
19
Shouldnt they be paid the average wage in their own country instead of the UK wage here? Its not as though they have the same overheads.
19
Or commies.
18
Its not my imagination that Cadburys tasted great in the 70s and 80s, far creamier and thicker chocolate and less sugar.
18
I got rid of mine two decades ago when I noticed how bad the BBC were getting and havent missed it at all and will never go back as its now full to the brim with awful w0ke which I detest but I wouldnt say get rid of the license fee. I prefer to keep it there and then its optional rather than it being forced upon all of us to pay for something we dont want in general taxes. In an ideal world I'd like it completely gone as its rotten to the core now but give them an excuse to update the licensing and I guarantee you wont be happy.
18
Too bad, I wont be changing my language whatsoever.
16
Same here, often see comments that you click on and it won't open. They are afraid that others might see them and be influenced and must be sh1t scared as it happens so often.
16
They are too ignorant to even care.
15
That is a Reform policy, to reform the welfare system and significantly reduce the numbers.
15
Lets face it they couldnt care less about any of us. Reform party for me as nothing to lose.
13
And completely useless.
12
So this government have already issued them passports to travel and return? How?
12
Get the boxset before its banned.
11
Pretty much sums up those on the far left.
11
The rate that these massive tower blocks are going up in London is shocking, almost completely full of newcomers, Brits are a rarity, at this rate we will be living in a foreign country within little over a decade.
11
I bet it's empty.
11
None of us ordinary citizens living today owe anything to the slave trade and I don't want a red cent of this money as I haven't experienced and personal hardship due to the colour of my skin. I don't want taxpayers money wasted on this nonsense.
10
I would consider changing the title to "How SOME black people wish to rewrite British history" as many black people are just as furious about all of of this racist nonsense as white people. If the likes of a supermarket needs to remind black people about their history then not enough black people are that interested.
9
Think?
9
Not forgetting the millions of multi occupancy properties divided into flats or bedsits all using far more energy and water than a typical family home or the new block of flats built on the site of what was previously a few houses.
9
Most of the new developments in the capital are devoid of British working class.
9
Hard to believe unless the people vetting are far worse than the unqualified pilot.
8
I'm brown skinned born British and had a black friend in the 80s who kept banging on about Black history and desperate to point out things that black people invented or how blacks were being neglected in society and a lot of the woke trash we are suffering now and he had a massive chip on his shoulder about it all, nice guy but in the end it got too much and I had to distance myself from it as I didnt like the way he was creating divisions between blacks and whites in his beliefs and I didnt want it running off on me as most of my family are white. I have no time for any of this woke nonsense, its never been easier to be dark skinned in the UK and this has all gone way too far.
8
And breed like rabbits.
8
Reparations are due for those forced into the workhouses and all the child labour and those put out to pasture due to the industrial revolution. Then there are the decades of torment and abuse for those who lost their occupations in the coal industry due to reckless government policies. The list goes on.
8
Spoiler alert. There is a twist in the plot when it is revealed that our leaders are the ALIENS and want the planet to themselves and rid of the 'useless eaters'.
7
@echopeakbicycling85 Just like their 'We are all in it together' phrase which excludes us.
7
Certain people need their hands held when using the internet, perhaps they should stay away from it as its obviously too much for them. The same people who were using it avidly when the internet first came along and you could say anything you liked and they werent kicking up any fuss about it then were they.
6
We knew that before he was given powers by the thick voters.
6
And ears.
6
Its no longer an option if you want to stay sane.
5
You dont have to see it but can feel it, 7 years away but already the currency has lost 50% of buying power compared to the early 2000s and the city is unrecognisable.
5
Best to offer incentives to leave and drastically reduce the welfare for anyone who is sitting on long term benefits having never contributed. It would be a nightmare to deport millions, for various reasons, Farage is just being honest, annoying as it is.
4
Bit different when you own the factory.
4
Another one for the boycott list.
4
And black people in the UK have never had easier lives. Very rare to see anyone black walking around without the latest trainers and designer fashions, high end mobiles, e-scooters or driving old bangers, mainly Audis, Mercedes and BMW's nowadays. Up until this divisive nonsense began racism was becoming a thing of the past, now its back in full swing coutesy of the people proclaiming to be helping black people who are 100% racist again white working class.
4
The trust is completely gone with UK politicians, lower than low trust.
4
That's because all of the damage cant be reversed but realistically even if half of the issues were resolved we would at least have a liveable country that functions and reform can deliver that.
4
The difference between Reform and Social Democrats popularity in the early 80s is that the country wasnt being undermined and economy deliberately tanked and we had functioning public services, infrastructure, housing, NHS and energy supply and werent allowing million in each year to undermine the pay and conditions of existing British workers. This is a very different situation and back then we still had what we believed were trustworthy main parties whereas I dont believe we have that now as they have a proven track record for failing the British public and making matters worse over several decades. Also, if Trump had walked away from the Republicans they wouldnt have won but he stayed and won and has now setup the party for the future.
4
The best we can hope for is to return to normal levels of immigration and not MASS which I believe is destructive for so many reasons.

@Africa1000 There isnt anything you couldnt tell me about black culture, I was the only black or brown skinned person in my school after I left South London and yes there was a lot of racism around as I stuck out like a sore thumb but it was no big deal for me, nothing like what todays black people experience, they wouldnt have coped for longer than 5 minutes and would have ran away. I have no chip on my shoulder, none of it affected me and I am appalled when I hear people bleating on about the UK being racist nowadays when the people stating it have no idea whatsoever about what real racism really is. Its never been easier for black people in the UK today, fact, people are sick to the back teeth of hearing the constant whining and accusations, the trouble is white British people are far too soft now.

Well the universe is truly massive so I'm guessing outer space.
