There should be suitable opportunities in their own country, too many over qualified and under qualified people coming here to do low grade jobs and too many low paid workers coming here driving down wages and accepting lower working conditions which does affect local people trying to seek work. Also 70% of these EU workers earn low to average wages that rely on benefits and housing support. Why should the taxpayer pay for this and have to share infrastructure, schools, NHS and public services with all these migrants, many of whom haven't paid a lot in taxes if any compared to someone paying for decades? Whats in it for local people? Not everyone has had a high level of education in order to get a high grade job or they may be approaching or in retirement and need an income topup, some locals want a basic job and basic income and not keep getting overlooked because of a constant stream of migrants getting them.
