The people who think they will be ok because they have managed to keep their job are in for a shock too as they won't be able to command the high wages they think they are worth as those jobs will be the ones everyone without a job will train to become so with fewer people working that's less potential revenue in the system so it doesn't matter how good Ai becomes it's only as good as the number of paying customers and the ability for people to afford the tech and the electricity to run these systems.
