  1. So the national debt goes from 5 trillion to 31 trillion in 20 years, yet what have the general public got to show for it? Nothing, they are far poorer than they were in 2000 and the country is in far worse of a state. As well as racking up all this debt they have been taking the tax revenue, spending the bare minimum on services and infrastructure so thats allowed them to syphon off even more into 'other' projects so the situation is far worse than it first appears.
