  1. The biggest mistake was giving remoaners the vote in the referendum as they don't know what they are talking about and have scuppered all negotiations and deeply divided the country. They are now hellbent on destroying democracy. Hesletine hasn't got a clue, so he thinks its fine to have had 20 years of mass uncontrolled immigration without any impact or upset, at the very least his party could have controlled non EU immigration instead of lying about wanting to control immigration levels? He also says people borrowed too much during the economic crash, yes they have done fantastic out of it with their property portfolios and house prices hitting record levels, nothing has been done to curtail this and the best his party has come up with is Help to Buy which has enriched developers and property speculators no end!!! The ones that have been hammered economically are those that didn't borrow too much during the property boom and yet his party haven't built a single affordable home since in power.
