  1. Not had a license for 20 years and not missed any of it. I occasionally have to suffer it briefly in the background when visiting family and can see that its massively dumbed down now, I really do worry about my family and friends mental health, especially with the big modern TVs, it really takes over the room. What I did notice though is how easy it is to slip into watching a load of nonsense and not even realise you are doing it because its so distracting, its a very powerful but insidious medium and to allow that into your living space is extremely dangerous because once you start thinking these presenters and broadcasters are on your side its game over.
