  1.  @xaviergarcia7965  Yeah in my city they dispatch an engine company (all firefighters are BLS-certified) because they arrive first. AMR has varying response times; the city fire department generally arrives in four minutes or less beating the ambulance. The city has explored handling their own EMS but no motion is made on that yet.

  2. Cool video with a lot of food for thoughts. One thing I've seen in some footage of European departments is a system of roll-on containers that carry specialized gear. So if there's a special situation requiring specific equipment, a small truck can pick up the container/packout and take it to the scene. Instead of super large vehicles, they could have smaller power units and save money in that way.
