  1. I've taken this train exactly once to Toronto, it's just too inconvenient. So one of the things going on here to make the train slow is the border crossing; either CBSA or CBP are not willing to work in the other country (the US station for Niagara Falls was recently rebuilt with border preclearance facilities). The other thing going on is that the New York service is subsidized so we get a better service in New York than expected. So we'll need a lot of help. It's such a miserable experience with transit in the USA sadly but we are trying!
