  1. I'm sorry! Obviously pressure from the government! What a shame! It's supposed to be a government for the people, by the people. I also believe in helping the less fortunate, but what a cost it is to our society. Our own people are in poverty, sick, dying, homeless, and hopeless. Shame on anyone who treats a veteran like that. We enjoy the "good life" because of our veterans. I am 76, and I understand how it feels to be put aside and ignored. Thank you for doing the foot work, and shining a light on the subject. I also believe able-bodied people should work. We already have too many people on welfare who could be working. There are not enough social workers to really weed out those using the system for their own benefit.
