  2. Thanks! This was a very timely message. I'm sorry you had contact with some desperate people, but that seems to be happening more and more in this country. It stopped happening in the dark, and started happening in broad daylight in the middle of a crowd of people. It happens everywhere, at gas stations, at ATM's, in Mall parking lots, in the grocery store, on buses, trains and subways, etc. Everyone needs to pay attention to their surroundings. It doesn't matter your age. There's no respect for the old or the young. I try to treat everyone with respect, and believe they are telling me the truth, but at 77, I've been taken to the cleaners too many times to count. All I can say, is be aware! Be a little less friendly and trusting. Put your needs first. I've often given up my lunch money, or my grocery money for the week and found out what I gave was used for liquor or cigarettes, not FOOD as I was told. I hope I have somewhat learned my lesson.
