My Momma did, too. The green stamps helped with many needed items. Looking back, I realize how hard her life was so that we wouldn't have to go through the same thing. My Dad didn't pay child support for six kids.

You go girl! You are absolutely right. Thanks for standing up for so many struggling women and men who are in such dire straights. Good people will always strive for self respect. Whether it be clean clothes, pretty nails, a tube of lipstick, a good hairbrush, clean dentures, or a clean "house". It's the small things that sometimes mean the difference between thriving and despair. A smile, a hug, a good morning hello is sometimes all it takes to make a person feel their life has meaning, and they are appreciated. You are doing good for all the people you have helped. I watched their smiles at knowing someone cared and was willing to go out of their way to help. Keep up the good work! You are a godsend to so many.
