  1. Merry Christmas to you and all the glowbies! You are absolutely right! Everyone should remember what happened the last time they did that. How many people lost everything when Covid happened? Don't think for a minute that people ever recovered from that. Please, please, don't let that happen again! I still believe that people in the government who "retire" after a short term, should not do it with full paycheck and benefits, and sometimes protection. They should go out and work like the rest of us and retire on social security and pension benefits if they are due. People who didn't have to work hard all their lives do not understand what it takes They do not understand what it means if funds and paychecks are cut. Have they ever had to feed watered down soup, and peanut butter sandwiches at the end of the month, or have oatmeal for three meals? Or, how many times did i see Momma eat a lettuce and sugar sandwich, or even an onion sandwich while we ate the food. I thought it was because she liked them. It wasn't. She made sure Daddy and us got what we needed. The U.S. isn't as great as some believe. People say there aren't classes, but believe me we are separated by who has access to money and who doesn't.

  2. Many government employees live paycheck to paycheck as it is. Not everyone has a high paying job even in the government. Bad things happen to government employees, too. We are talking about the big money guys.
