I've been watching YouTube videos for about three years now. I agree with your statement. I'm almost 76 years old, and I also thought property in two places would be nice. I'm not a nomad, yet, but I'd like to be. I know the odds of me staying healthy at this age are slim, but I've never seen the USA, outside my own state. I want to, but I also want to be in a situation where if I got in trouble, someone would notice and get me help. My mom was 93 when she passed. You are a good person. You wont' regret the time with your Mom.

@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 My mom lived with me at the end. She was poor enough to need Medicare and Medicaid. She became bed bound due to a hospital error. It was so hard to find a doctor where we could go with a wheelchair, and not need a one thousand dollar ambulance stretcher to take her to the doctor, and then have to leave the exam room door open because the stretcher wouldn't fit in. I found a new practice in a nice new building with huge aisles and big rooms, but the provider didn't take Medicare with Medicaid. I asked for someone who had been highly recommended for the elderly. Years later I found that another person in the practice did take Medicare and Medicaid, but they didn't tell me. Instead of spending $2500 to get me a lift to get her out of bed and into a wheelchair, and then into a car, the State of CT preferred to spend $1000 or more on an ambulance ride, at least three times a week, sometimes more for nearly 5 years until she passed. It could have been so much less stressful to all, and she would have kept her dignity if the State had just helped.
