  1. you do have a left party, last time i looked, socialist workers party were still meeting in larry's garage, once a month, to plan the revolution. but of course, gore vidal gets credit for pointing out that the usa has two significant parties, a right wing party and a farther right wing party.. nowadays they are called democratic [to obscure the fact that they despise democracy] and republican, to underline the fact that they not only despise democracy, but are willing to reveal this fact.
