  1. a good demonstration of the difference between elective aristocracy and democracy. you might imagine swedes would get tired of politicians, and take over the nation themselves. but it won't happen here, or anywhere else*. homer sap just is not suited to modern technology. *the swiss wandered into a reasonable form of democracy, pretty much by accident. i think they are losing it, the embrace of the eu is proving more deadly than being surrounded by fascists and nazis.
