[the nazis tested it.] the nazis surrounded them, with help from fascism and petain. there was a certain amount of gun-fire, and trade, at the same time. tight-ropey. the situation now is more desperate, since eu likely to continue, while hitler was clearly here today, gone tomorrow. but! there is a little hope on the horizon- italy rather likes the 'one belt, one road.' maybe italy, and the swiss will simply opt out of eu, trade with prc. from here, that looks like a very attractive alternative for both italy, and helvetia.
