  2. i figured out the reason for these local variations in the density of space a few months ago. i was pouring anise into vodka at the time, and all became clear. should have studied physics, so i could spread enlightenment to the world. but no one listens to you when they hear 'vodka,' and after all, particle physicists have gotten along well enough without me so far.

  3. ok, now i know. i will stay alert for contrary assertions, armed with crushing logic. may be awhile till needed. we hardly ever get into discussions of space-time at the local pub.
